• Anthropic is run by con-artists who capitalise on human tribalism and the general public's lack of understanding of the underlying mechanics of AI. Unlike OpenAI, Anthropic may not put ads in their chatbots, but they will certainly (and ironically) spend millions on a Superbowl ad to tell you that they don't do ads. The idea of Anthropic being the "moral" AI company and everyone else being "capitalistic demons" is largely a myth.
• Most general life advice can be misleading. You cannot tell someone to "work hard" if their mental model of what working hard is is fundamentally different from yours. The best life advice is learned through individual experience; you will learn what applies to your specific trajectory.
